if you are at a bookstore buying a book and they have the original cover and the movie cover and you buy the movie cover I’m never going to stop judging you
except, I’ve bought the movie cover a few times

Me: ... That wasn't even fast. I usually finish it in a day.
Person: omg but it takes me like a month to read a book!
Me: *stares in disbelief with mouth wide open looking like a goddamn fish while wondering how the hell it can take someone that long to read a book that is not the encyclopedia or some shit*

I have come to the conclusion that good books will leave you with a smile on your face.
But great books will leave you heartbroken and likely in the fetal position because the author steals your soul with their words, and the very thought of leaving the world and the characters hurts.
